Wikipedia journey?

The Wikipedia Encyclopedia has some great material on interesting people. Here's the nice one on Nikola Tesla. What other cool biographies have you enjoyed at the Wikipedia?

Comments:
Saint Nicholas
Guy Fawkes
P. D. Ouspensky
Eric Idle
Gene Wilder
Michael Palin
Joseph McCarthy
Chuck Jones
Wolfgang Pauli
Werner Heisenberg
Thutmose III

To name a few

George Pólya (quote): How I need a drink, alcoholic of course, after the heavy chapters involving quantum mechanics. (This is a mnemonic for the first fourteen digits of π, the lengths of the words are the digits)

Isadora Duncan

I have always been interested in history & found over time I read more & more bios. They were never contemporary, always 1900's & earlier. When people asked why, I would say I know of those people & their time.
I was on a website of quotes a few months ago & several of the quotes were referring to "if you really want to know history, read biography."
Its true. I just didn't completely realize it. Biography not only gives you the persons life, but the way life was in their time, & its the best history you can read.
