Comments:
01. I would give up TV.
02. I'd rather write a book that sells a million copies.
03. No.
04. Only if you believe he/she will.
05. Sushi is great.
06. Sometimes.
07. I could not have chosen a better career for myself - computers.
08. This life often makes an afterlife hard to imagine, but it may exist.
09. Our drug laws are backwards - the legal ones should be illegal and vice versa.
10. I take vitamins, but any benefit to my system is unknown.
11. I fix computers all day and work on this problem a lot.
12. It's hard for me to believe in evolution alone - I think they both come into play to some extent.
14. I don't think Internet relationships can work - chat rooms and blogs cannot replace physical interaction during the dating process.
15. As a musician, I would rather be the best guitarist - I could learn to speak another language much easier than play that well.
16. After having lived in Ohio my entire life, only leaving a couple of times, I could probably live in just one state, given I had enough money to make it worthwhile.
17. When I fantasize about being intimate with someone, the location of the act usually doesn't matter.
18. I know computers will.
19. I would rather lose my sight.
20. I enjoy my college and workplace, which both happen to be the same place.

1] 10 bye bye tv
2] 0 pen and ink? blood and
guts?i'd rather write the
book.
3] 0 my neighbor's cat with a bag
on it's head would be a better
and more effective president
in almost every way.
4] 0 maybe if you're the one
praying to G-d for a world of
unjust war, famine,
oppression, foreign invasion,
greed, racism, sexism and the
commodification of men women
and children. If thats what
you pray for then your G-d
obviously answers prayers.
5] 10 mmmmm!!!
6] 5 I am ambivalent.
7] 10 Yes
8] 10 If you mean some as yet
undefined continuum...yes.
9] 0 Prohibition doesn't work for
drugs just as it didn't work
for alcohol. During the years
of alcohol prohibition murder
and crime rates soared and
with the end of prohibition
quickly returned to lower
levels. Drugs make crooks rich
cost billions in ineffective
policing and would be best
managed if distributed to
users within either a taxable
business or governmental frame
work.
10. 5 I believe abortion is a
woman's right and all
decisions regarding its
application should be left to
the woman and her professional
physician. Government should
not involve itself.
11. 7 With appropriate counseling
and in moderation.
12. 3 Occasional maintenance. I run
regular manual checks with
anti spyware and anti virus
software.
13.10 Evolution absolutely.
Everything is intelligence.
14. 5 Perhaps with aspects of their
nature but it would feel
pretty shallow and distanced
and in my head rather than on
the beach at the table in the
bed...
15. 0 I play guitar and love it but
am also fascinated by asian
culture. I would love to speak
both languages fluently.
Imagine the face to face
access to billions of human
beings enabled by such
knowledge!
16. 0 Not impressed. I live in the
most beautiful place on the
continent. I'd rather stay
here and be forced to subsist
on rice and beans than be
unhappy there in bad air on a
mattress stuffed with money.
17. 0 Dull cliched fantasies.
18. 8 I think they already are. I
also think that all things are
sentient. Including rocks and
vegetables. This is why I'm
not a vegetarian but thankful
instead for all living energy.
19. 5 I wouldn't volunteer for
either option.
20. 5 I am thankful I have enough
after taxes to subsist and for
the job that provides my
subsistence.

1. 10 I would gladly give-up t.v., because books cover a wider array of topics, and it just so happens that my favorite topic is rarely covered on television.
2. 10 I'd love to help in any way.
3. 0 Enough said.
4. 5 I'm not sure.
5. 0 No way!
6. 7 I am happy right now, but I would be content with contentedness for the rest of my life.
7. 10 I majored in mathematics, and I'd do it again. Fun stuff!
8. 10 I believe the body dies.
9. 3 Americans should be allowed the right to responsibly use drugs for spiritual reasons.
10. 5 I'm not sure. I don't want to step on anyone's rights, but at the same time I do not like murder of any sort.
11. 8 I believe many of them can be. Now if only I can get into the habit of taking them.
12. 3 Not since years ago.
13. 10 We've evolved and are still doing so.
14. 10 I do believe it is possible to fall in love with someone on the Internet. Just be careful!
15. 0 I would rather speak Chinese and Japanese. The more I am able to communicate, the better.
16. 10 I'd even move to New York without being paid $50 million. There are so many different types of people there to meet and interact with.
17. 4 Spiral staircase sounds like fun, but a nice warm blanket in front of the fireplace sounds much more comfortable.
18. 5 I'm not sure. I think that humans and computers can mix, i.e. computers in the brain.
19. 10 Sight is precious.
20. 7 I like my job 70% of the time.

1.(10) If I had to give up books or TV, I would give up TV.
2.(3) I would rather have win the Nobel Prize in medicine than write a book that sells a million copies.
3. (0) George Bush is a good president.
4.(8) God answers prayers.
5.(0) I like to eat sushi.
6.(8)I am happy.
7.(5) If I could go back in time and start my education over again, I would major in the same subject.

13.(5)I believe that the evolutionary process (without intelligent design) is an explanation for life.
14.(9) I believe it is possible to fall in love with someone on the Internet, without ever meeting them.
15.(2) I would rather be the world's best guitarist than be able to speak Chinese and Japanese fluently.
16.(0) For $50 million tax-free, I would stay in the state of New York for the rest of my life and never leave the state for any reason.
17.(0) I would rather fantasize about being intimate with someone a spiral staircase than in front of a fireplace.
18.(0) Eeek! Hope not! I believe that computers will some day think and be conscious.
19.(0) No, a person's personality is in their voice as much as anything else!-- I would rather lose my hearing that my sight.
20.(8)I like my job (or if in school or retired, replace job with school or retirement).

1. (10) I have lived without TV for up to seven years at time and didn't miss it. I could never give up the pleasure of reading or being read to.
2. (8) I would rather win the Nobel Prize in medicine, then write a book about it that sells a million copies.
3. (2) No, nor do I think he is as "good" a man as he would like others to believe.
4. (1) No, I believe people find great comfort in prayers and then manifest (or not) their wishes on their own.
5. (10) Love it!
6. (9) Most of the time, although stress affects my mood on a day to day basis.
7. (3) No, I would minor in psychology and major in biology or chemistry.
8. (5) Not in traditional religious sense. I believe the energy that combined to create each being is returned in a different form.
9. (2) No. Legalize and tax illicit drugs. Then use the revenue generated from the tax to regulate and educate.
10. (8) Until men are as physically, emotionally and financially responsible for children as women are then the laws must support a woman's right to choose!
11. (4) If one does not or through diminished health status can not receive all their needed nutrition from their diet then sure. Otherwise they aren't really all that beneficial.
12. (0) None what so ever.
13. (8) While I don't believe in divine creation, it's comforting to think there is more to our existence than just random chance and evolutionary processes.
14. (2) I'm a psychologist, so no! One might be able to fall in love with the idea of the individual you are corresponding with online, but the biological process involved in attraction play a fundamentally important role in Love. Even if it isn't a romantic or sexual relationship, we tend to be most attracted and compatible with those we find physically appealing. Without real contact you can have great affection and respect, but not love.
15. (0) No. I'd love to speak another language fluently and who and how could you ever know you were the best guitarist anyway, it's a highly subjective notion.
16. (8) I love to travel, but with 50 million dollars and the subsequent interest on investments from it, I could do some wonderful things for others. So yes, I would stay in New York state.
17. (9) Both sound fine:)
18. (10) Yes, although it depends somewhat on your definitions of thinking and consciousness.
19. (7) I would then get cochlear implants.
20. (0) I am between jobs and embarking on a major career change. So using my last career or school psychologist it’s a definite no.

6. I am very very happy.
7. No. I'd learn more about my creative passion.
8. I believe in an afterlife. Yes, I do.
9. I believe that America's drug laws are retarded.
10. Nature aborts life all the time. I believe the incoming soul has a choice too. And an agreement with the mother before birth.
11. Nowadays yes, yes they are. The farm soils are so depleted the food really doesn't have a good vitamin content anymore.
12. Nope, not I.
13. No, I believe we are transplants.
14. In one's own mind, yes....I could see how that could happen.
15. Guitarist....music speaks to everyone.
16. I grew up in the state of New York. I'll have to say maybe, only because I can think of alot of ppl I could help with $50 million dollars.

18. Hmmmmm.
19. I'm an artist, so I'll have to say lose my hearing.
20. I like my retirement.

1. I live for books although my wife would neuter me if she couldn't get her ER/Grey's Anatomy fix...
2. Depends on what the book was and what the advance in medicine was.

8. No evidence = no belief.
9. America's drug laws are insanely harsh. How can you afford to imprison all those pot-smokers? Oh yeah, you use them as slave labour on the inside...
10. Absolutely - a woman has the right to choose.
11. No real evidence to support this statement as far as I know.
12. Most spyware problems are easily fixed if you take the right steps to innoculate yourself in the first place. Like not using Microsoft products :-)
13. There is simply no other viable solution. It's the strongest supported theory in all of science.
14. I don't htink people are sufficiently 'themselves' online and as such I doubt true love iwould be possible in my case.
15. I'd love to speak fluent Japanese. Anyway, you don't need amazing technique to play great music, just creativity. I can already write passable songs but to be able to sing them in Japanese? Too cool for words...

19. Without question, if i can't see i can't read or look at beauty and I can still communicate in many other ways. Not only that but there would be less distractions!

11. ridiculous, where are we going?
12. ?
13. I doubt. And I think that the ideas of Sheldraker about "morphic fields" are interesting
14. theorically I think it's possible, but I greatly doubt that can occour really. First there is far too much indifference between people now.
15. If it is like Andres Segovia, I would choose the guitar. If not I would chose Chinese.
16. certainly not! too much video-spying etc.
17. no
18. no

1. If I had to give up books or TV, I would give up TV.

I would give up TV. Oh, I already did.

2. I would rather win the Nobel Prize in medicine than write a book that sells a million copies.

Nobel Prize. I think you are awarded more money than if you sold a million copies. If not who cares.

3. George Bush is a good president.

No. No he isn't.

4. God answers prayers.
What is God?

My God is nature, and I believe in karmic action: what you put in, you will get out. This includes affecting your environment with thoughts.

5. I like to eat sushi.

Yes.

6. I am happy.

Getting there.

7. If I could go back in time and start my education over again, I would major in the same subject.

What education?

8. I believe in an afterlife.

I believe in afterbirth.

9. I believe that America's drug laws are about right.

No

10. I believe that America's abortion laws are about right.

Each state is different.

11. I believe that vitamin supplements are good for one's health.

Can be. Use a pendulum or muscle tests to find out which one(s) you need, if any. I take A&D (retinal palmitate and calcipherol) for eye health. Without the A vitamin, I lack night vision.

12. I have had to spend hours fixing my computer due to spyware
and related.

Only if you consider Norton to be spyware.

13. I believe that the evolutionary process (without intelligent design) is an explanation for life.

The universe itself is intelligent, for we are beings of the universe, made of the universe, and we display this intelligence.

14. I believe it is possible to fall in love with someone on the Internet, without ever meeting them.

Is it possible that our hormones can go crazy for little reason?

15. I would rather be the world's best guitarist than be able to speak Chinese and Japanese fluently.

I am the world's best guitarist.

16. For $50 million tax-free, I would stay in the state of New York for the rest of my life and never leave the state for any
reason

No.

17. I would rather fantasize about being intimate with someone on a spiral staircase than in front of a fireplace.

I don't know about this.

18. I believe that computers will some day think and be conscious.

I think they are already conscious. Each bit of reality contains a bit of consciousness, computers included.

19. I would rather lose my hearing that my sight.

I don't think so. My music is too important to me.

20. I like my job (or if in school or retired, replace job with school or retirement).

Well, it is allowing me to sit here responding to this, so, it's alright. I have a lot of freedom, which most people can't say.

Peace
