I like the idea of jaws pf these scientists with humanist leanings dropping at the sight of a prehistoric nuclear reactors. Not because I don't believe in human achievement, but because I believe even the smartest of us should be dumbstruck and humbled once in while.
 

The battery is still quite a mystery and a sufficient explanation for it's purpose has eluded me
